In short

  • I've gotten a book for children published in Pakistan; it's called "Starlight" and is about three kids who have to time travel to save their parents who are lost in time.
And if you want advice from someone who knows it, PLEASE DON'T EVER WRITE ABOUT TIME TRAVEL!!! It gave me a headache for two weeks because everything I wrote just kept clashing with the past, present or future! The book still has some flaws in it, but my publisher overlooked them and published it without reviewing it at all. I guess that's why it never became a bestseller!
And my second claim to fame is that I won first place in the Rio Grande Valley International Poetry Festival which took place in McAllen, TX in April. It was a lot of fun, and lots of good poets were there as well!

My Favorites: Reading and Writing

  • The Harry Potter series, Peter Pan, The Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica: Here there Be Dragons, The Kite Runner, A Thousand Splendid Suns, the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer, The Mediator series, Avalon High, All-American Girl, actually the list goes on and on, Lizzie at Last, I will keep on going unless I stop.
    Okay, I'm going to stop.
P.S Pendragon series, too. OK I'd seriously better stop.
  • Pendragon -- Book Two: The Lost City of Faar. I loved book one, and this is almost just as good. =)
  • The library at my school, or on the sofa in the living room (and some soft background music adds feeling to the book, too).
  • Bobby Pendragon -- so that I can go to those different dimensions ... hehe ... =)
  • J. K. Rowling, James A. Owen, C. S. Lewis, J. R. R. Tolkien, J. M. Barrie, Khaled Hosseni, Stephenie Meyer, Claudia Mills, Meg Cabot, D. J. MacHale.
