• About me:

  I was born and raised in the Netherlands. Aged 13 we moved to my dad's country: France.
  
  I'm bilingual: French and English; my knowledge of the Dutch language has faded over the past year and a half and I was raised with three different cultures: Dutch, French and South African culture. (And American and British influences from TV and books.)
  
  I can remember writing a few stories in French when I was 9 or 10, but I never ever followed through. And I never felt a need to write. At the time I went through a phase of going through different phases. Tamagotchi, pokemon, magic, writing, collecting stickers... But there are two things that have been constant: my big imagination and my love of reading.
  
  Between the 22nd and 25th of December 2007, I started writing a story, based on what a friend had told me about Twilight (I interpreted it my way) and I wrote a song/fanfic for said friend. After that I kept writing the story which got the title "Same Differences". I never finished it. But that started my BIG love for writing, my passion, my life.
  
  After 14 months, more or less, of writing I've gotten a lot better.
  
  In that time I gave up on "Same Differences", wrote a 13 000 word "novel", "Surrendering", started and gave up on the sequel, "Living", started and gave up on yet another story, "Selene Youngblood" and wrote a 30 000 "novel", "A Blanket Unwoven", several short stories and over 30 poems.
  
  Now I'm attempting to write 5 stories at the same time:
  -The Veiled Moon
  -Catching Rodrigo
  -Her Smile
  -The Healing Process
  -Nothing's Changed
  
  Most of these are on my fiction press account on which my username is Midnight Adrenaline. Now, for a little advertising for Rachel Vincent, one of my favorite authors.
  
  1st of July: "Prey", the fourth book in the Shifter series, by Rachel Vincent comes out.
  
  The Shifter series is about a tabby -- a female werecat -- Faythe. "Stray", "Rogue" and "Pride" are available on Amazon. (This isn't actually a YA series, but mature readers will love it.)
  
  1st of August: "My soul to Take", also by Rachel Vincent, is the first in the Soul Screamers series.
  
  This is a YA series about a teenager bean sidh, a banshee, Kaylee. (Because it's the first in the series, I don't know much else about it yet.)
