In short

  •       I am a single mother of 2 teens. My daughter is now in the Army as a Medic. My son is on the Pittston Twp. ambulance and fire dept. He is attending school to get his EMT certification, and will be continuing his education in Criminal Justice after he graduates in June. I love to write poetry, short stories, and make inspirational bookmarks.
         I am also looking forward to traveling more, and visiting my soldiers where ever the military takes them.
         I love cats and dogs, volunteering, and helping others whenever I can.

  •      My main goal is to advocate for all,  students, and for those children who are victims of bullying. I am in the process of writing a book for children called BOB the BULLYBUSTER. To teach children from a young age, to accept people for who they are, and not to judge others because of their disabilities, skin color, ethnic background, or any other differences. We are all human beings, and all deserve to be treated with respect.
        In a world that is seeing so much violence in its schools, I want kids to know that there is hope for a better future.
         On Jan. 18th, we are holding a candlelight vigil on the grounds of the Pittston Tomato Festival, at 6pm. This is in support of bullied children everywhere, and for children who have taken their own lives because they could not handle the bullying anymore. This is referred to as "BULLYCIDE. My Favorites: Reading and Writing

  • Chicken Soup for the Soul series
  • At the present time, nothing. I am concentrating on my writing right now. I just read the book about Jon and Kate Gosslin, and Chickensoup for the Gardener's Soul.
  • Anywhere I can have quiet, and be outside on the beautiful, sunny  days of spring and summer.
  • Poems from the mom's point of view on bullying, and the longterm effects it leaves.
