  I consider myself an old-fashioned existentialist  confronting the conundrum of
  one's meaning in a meaningless universe.  Absurdity is the cache word, replete with irony, and a self-directed sense of humor.

• My claim to fame: I was a damned good teacher of young addults for over 35 years and, I hope, I made a difference is some of those young lives encrusted in sterile cuccoons of  medieval nonsense.
