  Writing is something I crave and need to do.  The opportunity to do so has eluded me lately for the most part.  I hope to change that.

• My claim to fame: I was lucky enough to have had a poem included in the Jan 20, 2009 WEBook project on reflecting the inauguration of President Barack Obama, though I'm rather ashamed to admit that the entry was not my best work or effort ...
  
  I've been published in technical books, including one released in January, 2009 on content management ... but I'm not here for that!
  
  I've been told that I look a lot like a well-known actor.  I don't find these "compliments" particularly gratifying, unless said actor agrees and feels I'm due a small portion of his fortune ....
