I'm 16 years old, but I've been writing my entire life. I was reading a note that I had written to the toothe fairy when I was about 5. I had dictated it and my mom had written it. It said:
"Dear Tooth fairy,
I lost a tooth today. But instead of giving me money under my pillow, could you give me a small present? I'll pay you back later with the money I make from my novel....but I might not be published for a while! Sorry!"

My mom's a freelance writer. So, I think I got inspired by her. But what I think really got me was that my parents read to me when I was little. Thousands and thousands of books. I loved the pictures but most of all I loved the stories, the words. I would tell stories to my parents when I learned to talk. And I would use the pictures in the books as my guides.

So  yeah...the point is I've been writing a long time. My ultimate goal? I'm not really sure. I think its to get published....not for the money really, but just to be able to hold a book in my hands that I knew I had written.
