In short

  • In sixth grade I had a poem published entitled "My Favorite Rock", hopefully one day I can do it again, maybe with a slightly more sophisticated subject.

My Favorites: Reading and Writing

  • As of late: The God of Small Things, and Zami: A New Spelling of My Name
  • The Enchantress of Florence by Salman Rushdie
  • I recently moved into a new house and there are three windows in my bedroom. One looking out into the sky, one up to the hills, and the other, into a cove of vines and small white flowers. I sit on my couch with a view out every window. That is my favorite place to read.
