Let me tell you a little bit about myself…
Born and raised in a small TX town, I grew up knowing nothing other than the clear blue sky. Life rambled on as I grew like the sun-bleached grasses around me. Now I can't seem to string two words together without thinking it could be another dusty book shelved in the catacombs of a local library, and in my free time I like to believe I'm a college student. I hate to let anyone do anything for me, though if I'm given a gift I am eternally grateful. I can read, write, and I know my times tables. My knees are a bit green, but that's because I was taught to respect the environment, and in turn it will respect you. I buy way too many earth bags, and I'm too independent for my own good. I'm a firm believer in karma and good relationships, and I'll talk your ear off if you give me a good topic. I'm open to suggestions, and I'd love to hear yours. Come on over, and share a secret or two. If you give me a chance, I’ll give it right back under the guise of my own. My father’s a carpenter; much like Jesus if he had too many tattoos and a mouth like a sailor. My mother knows infinite patience and high blood pressure, and carries herself with the most pleasant ambiance you’ll ever encounter, if you’re lucky enough. I have no siblings, but my family makes up for that. Close knit and compassionate, there is a story and an opinion to match any issue. The mother of us all remains hidden in the hill country, in a cozy house just close enough to walk to the town square. Four generations have bound me to this land, and I see no chance or fancy of leaving it soon. I come from outlaws and gentlemen, ladies and burlesques, and not an ounce of my being is refrained in any such fashion. I’d be happy to meet you, for a cup of coffee, if only to chat.
Reading seems to take up most of my time, with a bit of work, class, and writing sprinkled in for good, clean, well-rounded measure. I work in a book store (hence the reading), I go to school at a small local college that shall remain nameless for the time being, and I attempt to write my name both backward and upside down so that I can one day claim to be "eccentric". If you feel the need to know specifics and personals, just ask. I'm sure I'll tell. Ponies, DIY, and stickin’ it to tha man are just a few of my favorite things.

Hmm... The Romantics of the 20th century, and the men who write about Texas as though it were their closest friend.
