I find writing poetry and stories thrilling!  From the time that I took  creative writing classes in college, I have wanted to become a published poet and author.  I have had many of my poems published in journals and on poetry websites as well as had  my first book of poetry published in 2006 -- "Bits And Barges." 

When I'm not writing, I work as a library assistant and live a full life with my husband, two cats, and three barrel cactii.  Reading a plethora of books -- both fiction and nonfiction -- and crocheting accessories, and walking for exercise are also my past times. 

Writing is a way for me to be creative, but it also allows me to reach out to others in an educational and entertaining way.  My moto is:  Don't Ever Give Up!:)
