I have been teaching since 1994.  I started at one of the 3 most violent schools in NC and worked there for 3 yrs.  I then helped start Kestrel Heights Charter school and have worked many hours helping this school stay open.  I started out in Engineering and didn't switch until my Jr. year to teaching.  Not a normal track.
