I am a published poet. For years,I worked as a Social Worker with abused and neglected children and their families.I started writing in my forties after the suicide of my brother,Patrick.I write about;loss, love, acceptance and inspiration.I am hoping to have my poems published in an anthology.I have submitted some of my work to various literary magazines, but so far I haven't had any success.I would like to meet other people who started writing later in life.
When I am not writing,I enjoy going to bookstores, taking long walks, and going to the movies.I am easygoing and love the simple things in life.Friends say I am funny(sometimes),bright, creative, stubborn, and loyal.
