When People ask “ who are you” I begin to shudder.
I am tempted to give a typical response;
A name, an occupation… maybe a hobby.

But people really should know.
They deserve an honest answer.

Not because I’m so great, interesting or beautiful.
I have no special talent, no gift to share with the world.
I have no list of achievements. No special degree.
I cannot even tell you of where I’m going in life.

I DONT have it figured out.

But as much as the world try’s to shame me,
I turn my head and laugh.

Because what I am is real, It’s no speech to impress.

I’m a writer who cant spell,
An unable dancer,
A lover of one I have yet to meet.

And In This, I have found a deep radiating joy, that cannot be obtained
except by embracing your true imperfect self, and living each day fully present. 

Live real, mad, free, deep, and infectiously passionate.
Don’t look to the future….   today is your someday!
