I'm just a... fun loving, poker playing, whisky drinking rock chick, who gets a kick out of blood and gore........but ever so sweet ;)

I am an ordinary person living and working in Scotland and bringing up my family on my own, I am a horror writer, mostly poems but I have a few short stories that I have attempted to bring to 'life'.

Someone commented that I seem to have an infatuation with death, far from it, most horror writing ends with the death of someone, my infatuation is not with the death itself but with the lead up to or the aftermath to the death, I like to know how it feels, the emotions, the fear, the physical body responses and what goes through their mind knowing they are about to die. There are numerous ways to die and that's what enthralls me.

I also want to know what its like for the dead do they have feelings, thoughts, a sense of their surroundings? I guess we'll never know, but I like to imagine what its like.

Almost everyone has a fear of death, and that's why I think everyone has a little bit of morbidity in them, they want to read about it, they want to see it, they crowd round a car accident straining their necks to see the severed head lying in its pool of blood (sorry getting carried away) I write it, its my thoughts, its my feelings, its my severed head.
