I have written short stories and poetry since I was a little girl.  Small town publications in local newspaper or read on radio...nothing too spectacular, but have always had an inner desire to really write!!  I am a mother of 3 boys who I love dearly but sometimes feel that the "stuff on my plate" hinders my writing.  I havent really written anything since my senior year in highschool.  I was asked to write a memorial poem for a friend we lost to the waters of lake erie.  it was the hardest thing I've ever been asked to do....I dont think anything would have been good enough!! At least not to me!!  I did it and really havent written since...almost 20 years...wow has it been that long!!  I have woken from sleep and written down bits and pieces of things but not anything that I would feel comfortable sharing....there is this "fog", I guess, that needs to clear....maybe this site will help lift the "fog".
