  • What are you working on?

I have a completed 86,000 word paranormal women's fiction novel.  It's basically a love story with a match-making ghost.  The story spans over three books..or it did the first time I wrote it.  I'm attempting the synopsis right now...yuck...

In short

  • I've been an elementary music teacher for twenty years this year.  I've only discovered reading and writing as a hobby in my 40's.  Never liked to read when I was growing up.  Found out recently that I have a probable processing disorder that kept me from comprehending and hearing things correctly.  I've had to compensate for it all my life.  The therapy for it is music, so after all these years of singing, instrument playing and teaching music to children, it's opened my brain up to being able to read and enjoy it for the first time in my life.
I tried writing on a whim on Fall Break in 2008 and discovered how much I loved it.  Never tried to write anything creative before and have been writing ever since.
