I am a tenured professor of marketing at the world's most beautiful community college, located on the edge of the sea in the California city of Santa Barbara .  As a teacher, I have discovered that we can find  one of the "secrets" that can creating happiness for ourselves an others. The secret is when we write, as we put a "fence around our feelings." Journaling or any type of writing can provide the answers to the continuous clamoring of questions surrounding us. Using the tools of pen or keyboard are can begin the journey for answers to many of these questions.  Writing helps us to no longer forget how to listen to the childlike heart that remains inside of each of us.  We have been trapped by our outer life with its negative voices. These voices have the goal  to silence our joy, happiness, and imagination. It is time we all take up the power of the written word through our writing and our reading choices.

We have just finished our story.  Again, it has been wonderful to create something that will bring joy to others. It is especially important to find the light during these dark moments where our minds are filled with thoughts of financial uncertainty. The most valuable strength we must access during these  moments of living in a world with horrific "financial fiction" (having been written around us) again, is to take title to our thoughts and outlook on life.
