I am 26 years old and started writing years ago when I was a teenager. I picked it back up seriously after I got a divorce a couple years ago. I have been published once, and I am starting a new venture into song lyrics (no success yet though!). I use my writing as a means of telling stories about my experiences in life and as a portal to output some of my emotions. I'm hoping one day that I can make something of myself through my writing. Currently, I am an x-ray tech and love every minute of it but would love to teach one day!
