Tony O’Reilly has been writing for about eight years. He was shorted listed in the William Trevor International Short Story Competition 2011, He came first in the emerging writer category in the Sunday Tribune Hennessy Short Story. Awards and the George Bermingham Short Story Awards. He came first in the all-Ireland category of Undiscovered Authors 2006 competition with his first book entitled ‘Sentinel’, and second overall in Ireland and the UK. On the non-fiction side he has written for The Irish Times under Irishmans Diary with an article on The Tudors. At the moment he is working on a gothic novel based in the west of Ireland. He is a graphic designer and lives and works in Dalkey, County Dublin.
