In short

  • my most important claim to fame would be that i managed to produce six great kids 2 sons 4 daughters+2 fostered kids 1 boy 1 girl  and reared 4 others that there parents had no time for
    and through all this i had a wonderfull wife cathie i could not have done it without now we have 19 grandchildren  and 1 great  granchild .
    i write poetry im not saying im any good at it  i suppose it is based on the frame of mind i am in at the time wether i am just reminising about childhood or whether i am feeling a bit depressed about the state of the world.
    i see it  more or less as my statement of how i feel  its my way of letting off steam and i feel a bit  embarrassed  about showing my poems
    ive had a couple of poems placed in anthologys by poetry .com
    my dream would be to become an author and would be obliged for any advice or conservative criticism thankyou

    im mainly into  Eddings,Mcnab,koonts,king,and sadly the late david gemmel who gave me hours of pleasure
    and mainly an author from my own home town by the name of  ian rankin who rites the rebus series all based in Edinburgh
