In short

  • am 39years young and a Fire Fighter for the past 15, i have a loving wife and 2 sons who i would die for.
    i started writing poetry at school but never thought i was any good, redescovered poetry about 14 years ago and have not stopped since, find i can be honest and real in my work, very rearly change any verses from the first draft, i write what i feel and whats inside.
    am dedicating my work to my Father as a way to say i am sorry! he could never be the man HE wanted to be and i forgive him (he knows).

  • I came second on the Weakest link, and have walked Hadrians wall for Help for Heroes and raised £2000 and amplanning to walk from St Bees head to Robin Hoods Bay late April 2012 (coast to coast Wainwrights route) in aid of Help for Heroes and the Firefighters charity who have helped me recover from a serious injury.
