I don't trust people. I have a low opinion of them. I know there is goodness and decency and intelligence out there, but I know it is rare, so if I assume the worst, I'll be right 60% of the time. If I assume the best, I'll be right one quarter of one percent of the time. The rest reside in a mediocre miasma. It is a very frustrating state of affairs. I hope to find those .25% someday, for now I am mostly working to heal and achieve a life I find meaningful. i am old enough to understand a great many things, and to realize many things will always be beyond me.
