In short

  • Without so much as an outline or idea where I was going, I sat down at the computer one day and started typing. And four years later, I found I was putting the finishing touches on four different projects. Crazy! I never started out with the intention to write anything other than a short story. But words just ran out of me like a faucet, so I kept on writing. I have been fortunate to be able to share my stories with many readers around the world...England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Greece, and right here in the US. I have made dozens of new friends which has been the highlight of this journey. The response I have received to date has been overwhelmingly and suprisingly positive. This has given me the courage to take that dreaded "next step" and put my work out there in the hopes of one day being published. It's a lengthy and unpredictable process, but one I'm very dedicated to. I love language and strive to create something meaningful and descriptive with all my work. I believe in well-rounded, fully developed characters and the impact of their emotions on paper.

Thanks to everyone that has supported me in this endeavor. My husband and children have been more than understanding when Mommy spent hours on the computer and they were resigned to PB & J for dinner many a night!
