In short

  • I'm 19 years old. I have a twin sister called Sophia, and a brother-in-law called John. My brothers are Robert, 14, and Nathan, 2. I now live at Laidlaw Bible College, in Henderson, Auckland (HA not too hard to figure out ay)

  • My sister recommended this site to me. I can write, but I am not very good because I'm brimming with ideas! I can usually never finish a book. The only ones I've finished are really dumb or kinda cool.

95% of the kids out there are concerned with being popular and fitting in. If you're part of the 5% who aren't, copy this, put it in your profile.

If you walk into walls because you have your nose in a book, copy this to your profile.

If you ever forgotten what you were talking about in a conversation copy and paste this onto your profile. Heck, if you forget what you were going to say on a daily basis, post this here too.

If you love God, post this on your profile.

This was written by my twin sister Sophia. (the asterisks indicate italics)

    The Good Shepherd
The average shepherd in the 19th Century in England and America had a particular way of driving his sheep. He went *behind* his sheep and *drove* themn forward to where he wanted them to go.
But did you know that the Palestinian shepherds of Jesus' time went *before* their sheep? How, then, did the sheep successfully go where the shepherds went, and how did he stop exploring sheep going off on their own?
He used his voice. Each shepherd had his own call that the sheep knew by heart. If another man tried to imitate the shepherd's call, the sheep would run away from him, no matter how alike his call sounded to that of the shepherd's.
This illustrates how Jesus is 'The Good Shepherd'. A shepherd was a constant companion to his sheep. Their pasture had no fences, so the shepherd stayed with his sheep day and night. Thus the shepherd held a great bond with his sheep, and they bonded with him.
He would lay down his life gladly to save them, even one of them. And, if you substitute the shepherd as Jesus Christ and the sheep as us, it is so amazing that Christ deliberately died so that our souls would actually have a chance of joining Him forever?
