In short
-
I was inspired to write by Brian Jacques and his Redwall novels; my first endeavor was to take that idea to a prehistoric level with a story I actually finished. However, having written it between the ages of 9 and 11, there is no way to describe it now other than absolute comedy, and it is more entertaining to dismantle it piece by piece than actually read it; still, the idea was good, and it has grown into the "Fabula Tyrannosauria" project, which can be found here.
I was born on April 6, 1988, at around 4:30 in the afternoon, at Women and Infants' Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. I attended elementary education at a Catholic school until first grade, and then in the public system until the end of third grade. From there, I was homeschooled until my acceptance to the University of Rhode Island (URI). I am now forging my way through my fifth year (as of 10/20/08) as a student in Mechanical Engineering and German, attempting to get a Computer or Electrical Engineering minor. In July, I returned from a six-month internship in Germany, at Lufthansa Technik AG, in Hamburg, and I'm slated to graduate in May, 2010.
I play soccer recreationally (by which I mean, probably not often enough); I play piano, though not as well as I once did; I enjoy sketching, which I do all over the desks in class; I like to sing, but even moreso when no one can hear me; and political, ideological, and theological debate are three of my most precious pastimes.
Of all the seasons, Fall is my favorite, and there is nothing more beautiful than an Autumn in New England. - Would that I were famous!

I'm going to have to start reading some more lighthearted books before I pick one of those.

Bernard Cornwell is at the top, at the moment. H.P. Lovecraft and Douglas Adams draw close seconds. Sir A.C. Doyle, Theodore Judson, Robert Jordan...
I'll tell you who I don't like: Terry Goodkind. Although, I would consider him a perfect example of how not to write...pay no attention to his amazing and inexplicable success...
