My name is Shelia Burket. I am happily married to a wonderful man named Dave who is currently assisting me in getting my career in writing off the ground. i have 3 great kids, Cole 26, who is a talent artist/musician in his spare time, Cody 20, (The Clawmaster) who is totally obsessed with pro-wrestling, and Courtney 18, who was recently married last year and gave me my first grandchild Noah. I have a son-n-law Justin who is in the Marine corps. I have been blessed with a wonderfully supportive circle family and friends. I love to write, sing, draw, paint, cook (eat), and spend time with my family and friends.I love romance movies, romantic comedies, drinking coffee and ice tea. I am a very optimistic person. I have a strong faith in God. I am a strong believer that what doesn't kill us will make us stronger:) and that most of all success is the greatest revenge:),( and of course a little karma doesn't hurt !!!) I believe in paying it forward...help someone...give of yourself and one day it will come full circle:) all my life i have dreamed of being a writer. Now that my children are older, I have decided to follow my dream!!! i have written 2 romance novels and a childrens book and am in the process of looking for a traditional publisher.
