In short

  • Hi,
I like to make many friends and connections as possible. I want to be surrounded by other writers, whether they're poets, short story writers or novelists. I want to be surrounded by people who have similar dreams and interests like me, which is to write something worth sharing, reading and talking about.

My favourite authors growing up are:
Roald Dahl, Deobra Abela and Chris Ryan

My favourite authors who I discovered in high school are:
Suzanne Collins, Veronica Roth, J.K. Rowling, William Shakespeare, Katherine Mansfield, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie

I never got into Twilight, don't know why.

I've recently started a short story writing course and this has opened me up to so many good short story writers:
Alice Munro, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Ray Bradbury, Leo Tolstoy, Haruki Murakami and Sonny Whitelaw (my tutor).

While I do like adult authors who write for adults such as Elizabeth Gilbert, author of "Eat, Pray, Love" and Harper Lee, I'd much rather prefer Roald Dahl and other kids books any day of the week including:

    Avril Crump by Angela Woolfe
    Anthony Horowitz
    Andy Griffiths
    Jeff Kinney
    Michael Grant
    Dav Pilkey
    Elisabetta Dami

Despite that, I'm not childish. I mean, sure I'm pursuing my childhood dream while my other friends aren't because they "have to be in reality". But I'm actually pretty mature, honestly. It's not my fault that I have to be drunk on writing so reality cannot destroy me. (Bradbury reference).

  • I like to make many friends and connections as possible. My claim to fame would be having all my webook friends. I hope to one day have even more. But the connections I have with my fellow Webookers is way more important than fame and numbers. I'm also on Wattpad and Critique Circle.
