In short

  • I'm currently reinventing my writing persona as I'm starting to write in a different genre. It's not only exciting but extremely refreshing as well. Everything I was writing was very serious, so now I'm taking a lighter approach and having some fun.

My other passion is photography, which gets me out and about chasing wildlife and gives me lots of lovely fresh air. It helps recharge the batteries so that I don't get all twitchy sitting at my desk. A pretty good combination.

  • I've Indie published two non-fiction books and I now have a contract to have one of them translated and published in Italian. I'm dead chuffed about this as the publishers approached me!

Apart from the biggie I've had lots of articles published in magazines over the years, and achieved highly in competitions for the opening chapter of a novel.

  • Any protagonist from a Dick Francis book, they have such fun! Their day usually starts so normally and gets more complex by the minute. Perhaps I need the adrenalin rush.
