In short

  • My claim to fame?--I don't have one. Unless, of course, you attended or worked at Downers Grove North High School, where--for the past two years--I was the bitter, angry editorialist that wrote about things sadly to deep for the general high school populace to understand. Or that in sixth grade I was published twice in the local newspaper for a series of pieces (student written) about our elementary schools. Every other school had a team of six writers for each article. I did both entirely by myself. Back then, that made me feel special. I also won grade level young authors three times and the school once, but when you're that young, that has no meaning pertaining to actual writing talent.

This year I will be attending my first year at Ithaca College as a creative writing major. Once I develop my skills a little bit (I'm still young, you can see it in my writing) I hope to make a living with my pen. As for now, I just write for fun and hope for some feedback. Help a poor college freshman! Feedback always appreciated!
