- No real fame so far, but I've been writing stories for as long as I can remember.
My Favorites: Reading and Writing
Almost anything I read becomes a 'favorite'. I really just want the story, which gets me into reading plenty of books that aren't particularly worth my time.
On the other hand, however, excluding classics, there are some books that I always recommend for people.
The Pendragon Series (D.J. MacHale)
I am the Messenger (Markus Zusak)
The Book Thief (Markus Zusak)
The Poisonwood Bible (Barbara Kingsolver)
All Quiet on the Western Front (Erich Maria Remarque)
The [increasingly inapropriately named] Hitchhiker's trilogy (Douglas Adams)
The "Dirk Gently" books (Douglas Adams)
The Color of Water (James McBride)
When you are Engulfed in Flames by David Sedaris
Toast by Charles Stross
Iron Sunrise by Charles Stross
