Hundreds of essays flooded into WEbook following Barack Obama's historic inauguration. Sixty were chosen, including those from an American Book Award winner, a 15-year-old high school student, and a postal worker from Montana. Read their stories in the new Jan 20, 2009, with all WEbook profits going to 826 National, a non-profit tutoring, writing, and publishing organization.

In our tireless quest to make WEbook the place to read, write, and review, we're happy to introduce a gaggle of new features. First, we launched a spiffy new public homepage where we plan to spotlight more of the best work on WEbook. Second, check out a new feature called Path to Publishing for tips on improving your chances of being picked for publication on WEbook.com. We also debuted a zippy new reader for WEbook projects so you can read a project from start to finish. To use it, click on the "Read Book" link on any project page. You can also now easily export your project to Microsoft Word.
