Love is

Love is more than words you know
Like snow angels in the sun
There are so many things I want to show
I dream of you and your soft touch

Though lately we’re so busy
That I haven’t felt that much
And being together is supposed to be easy
I have so much I want to share

And there is so much more inside
At times I feel my heart is bare
And I wish in your arms I could just hide
I wish in your arms I could just hide

You have things that pull us apart
There are dreams I think better unsaid
In these matters of the heart
Maybe they are best solved in bed.

Alone at last in a long lost dream
That’s where I have been
Maybe to take you hand and show you this
Is all I want and then

I wish for love on a nighttime star
As I stand up at night alone
I watch you sleep and dream afar
Maybe I should call you on the phone

I miss you so..to be in my world
There is so much I want to say
As I watch you sleep your hair in curls
I let the night just drift away.

You are my love, my morning light
You are my dreams, you are the knife
And in my walks through the lonely nights
I love you with all my life
.
Come take my hand and be my love
Let my rest my tired head on your skin
And have the warm rains come from above
Let us love again, my love, my friend
