They don't talk, but she hears.
We saw death but did nothing.
If there's God, where is he?
She woke up, cried, then died.
The morning was gray but great.

Tears shown pretty in the light.
And she cried for a while.
What did he mean by that?
You remember the day she came.
She sighed out smoke. Alone. Again.
"Again." She said with a sigh.
She danced, incandescent like a ghost.
A singer in a smokey room
Smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share
Their shadows searching in the night
Working hard to get my fill
Payin anything to roll the dice
Some will win, some will lose
Alone, listening to Don't Stop Believing.

I like the ones that actually encapsulate a story, like a scenario or an entire page of words...that's what this project is about....I love it
Good Idea...In theory...people, click the button that says "Start A New Story" this is the feedback section.
Thats a novel idea, I like the concept of projecting a feeling with six words or less. hope my story sort of does that
Hello? Post your six word story as new story, not as feedback. This is for comments on the project. To comment on a story post comments on the story.
Get it?

"As she woke, her life ended."
"With the sun her love left."
"She is alone in her dreams."
"The sun spun around me lightly."
OR

Achieve Nirvana? Ain't that a band?
A picture of us, collecting dust.
To the stranger, with undying love.
It was a tragedy, but moreover...
Call me. Call you. I won't.
That? Put it in the box...
One rose wilted; another one gone.
Vanity Fair; bible for young girls.
And then it hit me. Ouch!
Warranty expired. Please renew. Goodbye, lover.
Celebrity charged with DUI. What's new?
Arrested author. Christianity critic. Death penalty.
Counted stars. Got tired. Went home.
Ahoy matey! Yes, this hook's real!
Only if I were Britney Spears.
Homosexual? Puh-lease! Give me a break.
Said too much. Dug my grave.
Stock Market Crashes: Houses on sale!!!
Great Depression, eh? I'm still smiling!
Gave him the news, he fled.
Trapped inside a box. His mind.

He awoke to find her there
The sun's hands penetrated their souls
His hand gently caressed her thigh
Life taught them plenty that day
She watched him walk away forever
He searched for life before death
He walked forever but crawled beforehand
He soon found everything in nothingness
Losing sanity in an insane world
Her cold tears dampened the windowpane
His silence spoke louder than words
He closed his eyes to see
Look for strife and find life
The roar echoed through cold stone
An unquenched desire profiting from lose
Walking through Hell to find Heaven
Night fell hard; Dawn rose gently
Remember the day I almost lived

As the world cheered, he bled.
None could claim indifference on camera.
As the world sighed, he faded.
As the world waited, time didn't.
Where was their second coming, now?
Maybe they'd read the bones wrong.
Back to the drawing board, then.

Interesting concept. Some of these submissions are extremely powerful while maintaining the spirit of the project.
Sensing disgust, her son collapsed inside.
For Sale: Infantry Uniform. Permanently Stained.
When Junior died, we stopped living.
She promised “never again” again.
She felt so dirty; so un-washable.

God loved so much He gave.
The ultimate Gift: His only Son.
A Child would be our Savior.
Christ came and lived … to die.
He died so we could live.
Whosoever will believe shall be saved.
Just seek and ye shall find.
Knock and it shall be opened.
Ask, and receive blessings beyond imagination.
Experience a peace that surpasses understanding.
Lord, I believe. Help my unbelief.

Listen. Look. Feel. Say. Run. Remember.
Life on roller coaster never stops.
Longing to fly but clipped down.
Stuck on past memories and regrets.
Living between tradition and modern cultures.
Finding pigments of truth beneath everything.
Music covering up loneliness and negativity.
Singing out all kinds of songs
Smart enough but not for university.
Drawing creates a new vision of life
Waiting for acceptance from hurt ones.
That's all for now I can think of....

The angel landed, looked, flew back.
It was the end. Very unexpected.
The moon spiraled closer. Bang! Crash!
We fought, but they're too few.

Sliding through cold water until: ICEBERG!
Floating, falling, landing. Soil, sunlight, flower!
Without words, mama knows her needs.
Waiting… A tug! Reel it in.
“Are we there yet?!” teaches patience.

Hi. It seems so popular... testament to our busy lives that we can find so easily find six words to live our life.
Here's a suggestion for those of us who can't resist a '6 word story' (akd 6ws). How about taking a 6 word story and adding to it, anyone can join. See if we can build a story just for fun. Anyone interested?
