A Collection of Cinquain

Cinquain - Invented and published by Adelaide Crapsey, an American, in 1915. Inspired by Tanka and Haiku, the title usually formed a sixth line. 5 lines, syllables per line 2-4-6-8-2  See Wikipedia article. http://tinyurl.com/29vtdc2

This form of poetry, related to Haiku and Tanka, can be used to write either a single stanza, or a set of verses. The poems can be on any topic, although please do not use offensive language, describe strong violence, or make explicit sexual references. Rhyming is not usually used, but there is no reason why it shouldn't be. I have included a number of my poems to illustrate the concept, but do not pretend they are perfect!
