This experiment is something I wanted to do with my writing students but never got the chance. I'd like to encourage writers to come to this project with an open mind. I'd like to offer up some ideas along with a few rules. For example, if you want to write a romantic poem, you can do that here but you won't be able to use the words, "love, heart, soul, eternity, or feelings." I'd like to offer up some ideas along with a few rules. I'd like to see some peace poems too. But the writer has to put himself into the place of a soldier or a person fighting for something. What would peace feel like/look like to a man in the middle of war or a natural disaster. Would it be a cool, clean set of sheets to dream on? Would it be a stranger speaking words of truth?

Those are just two ideas to start with. I'm sure we'll come up with more ideas as the project progresses.
