It's oh so easy to defend the things we care about. Opinions on war, abortion, the death penalty, and tuna salad are held by everyone, even if we all have varying stances and reasons for the way we think.

But you've been putting your fingers in your ears and shouting "la la la" for far too long.  Pick something you have strong convictions on (even if it's simple, like why brownies are the greatest dessert of all time), and support an opposing or different side as best you can.
