Alpine Recreation (Working Title)

It started as a short story, but it seems to have taken on a life of its own.

This is the story of a private detective, an attractive readhead, and a small town in West Texas called Alpine. Anything in square brackets ( [like this] ) is a note to myself, so I can find places that need more work later.
