Authors Dilemma
I had a great idea for a book so I sat down at my keyboard and started to write. At first the words were flowing and falling into place. My mind was filled to capacity with all kinds of bright ideas. I thought I was going to create a literary master piece. Then something happened I can’t explain. The words stopped coming and my mind went blank. It was as though I had been hypnotized and all thought on its content was cleansed from my mind.

GIVE FEEDBACK
I understand your delima, but I have never had that to happen to me. Everytime I sit down something comes to my mind. I do not always complete the work's thatI start, but I always start. I wish I could help, but I have no ideas on the matter.
Something that worked for me when I hit a roadblock about half way through my first novel was to just keep writing. It doesn't matter if you go back and delete half of what you put down during your first revision, it keeps the story moving. It helped me make it all the way through my novel in four months. Of course I spent several more months revising and fine tuning, but I am certain that the reason it is now complete is that I just kept writing. Anything is better than nothing to get your imagination stirring again. I wish you the best of luck, don't give up.
I'm having the same precise problem. I began work on my most structured manuscript to date when I was 18, I'm now 25 and I still haven't managed to finish it. I've began the novel again and again hoping that the few perspectives I've gained since I first began it would do the trick, but...nothing. I'm beyond frustrated and ready to shelve it until I'm in my thirties. I'm sorry I've got no real advice to give, just wanted to let you know that you're not alone in your dilemma.
