"Just another one of those days," is a common saying in the Stormrider household. If its bad luck, then Felix has even the worst-off beat. But Felix doesn't mind. When life decides to give him lemons, he doesn't just make lemonade-he serves it up like a blue blazer, pours it in a gauntlet and tops it with a mini umbrella. He was born with the ability to control his own luck. But, there are a few setbacks to using this ability:

1. Even luck is subject to the law of equivalent exchange. Use up a days worth of luck for one moment, and you get a days worth of hell to live through tomorrow.
2. You can't defy anything preset, no matter how much luck you draw.
3. Luck is a non-renewable resource.  When your luck runs dry... so does your life.

Felix does his best to keep his luck consistent. Unless he needs to cheat on a test or ask a girl out, of course. But one day, his luck turns sour. When he jumps in front of a truck to save a little girls life, he realizes a second too late that it's the work of his bad-luck rebound. And a second sooner than he realizes it, his bad luck is stopped in it's tracks by a tall-hooded figure with three faces.

Soon after, Felix has a chance meeting with an unusual person named Peter, who becomes the catalyst to the events that follow which change his life, and his luck, forever. Super powers, fairy tales, living shadows, and vigilante cults force their way into his life, and all in one day! But that's only the tip of the ice-burg. Felix can feel a dark force surrounding him like a thick fog, and he doesn't know what it is, where it's coming from or what it wants with him.
