This  project  book includes stories and  poetry from my life. I may use a few poems written by my children too, I really haven't desided on that yet. This  project  book includes stories and  poetry from my life. I may use a few poems written by my children too, I really haven't desided on that yet. The poetry and stories may be out of order in the beginning. Hopefully I can rearrange them to make more sense as I write. As I reflect on my life as a wife, mother and grandmother  I jump time. Writing has never come easy for me.  At times like my life my thoughts are fragmented and are tangled in depressive writing, then  they become whimsical.  My memories are fading due to either health issues or age. What I have learned as far as writing is concerned has come from books. Books are my passion. I have been writing since 1969, journaling. Most if not all of my creative writing comes to me as I ponder life. Dreams have played an equally important part in my writing. Meditation and studies have opened many doors. The people in my life have shaped my thought patterns and have taught me so much. I have always been curious. I am a seeker of truth. My truths may differ from yours. What you feel in your heart is your truth. Do not let fear or the judgemental and sometimes programming religious pandering of others cause you to end your search for the truth. Peace and harmony are well worth the search. I have always loved this quote. ( The truth of one's soul is silent, important only to oneself. For my truths are not your truths, So silent it will be Until in silence our truths will meet and we laugh To find that they are only reflections of one another. ) ~ nari
I hope you find the stories and poetry posted here on webook by me enticing enough to compose your own. My writing has been healing for me. Mothering is like counseling in many ways but it doesn't pay to try and psychoanalyze your children. Of course you want to be a very good listener. Most of the time it's like pulling teeth to get your children to open up and talk. Secrets win over in the end. You never expect the axe to fall until you are faced with unbeliveable tests and trials in life. It's like a psychic trying  to see her on future. It can't be done. At times you may meet a stranger on the street or in the market who is the same age as your spouse or children. They will open up and talk to you about things they could never speak of to their wives or moms. In my life this has been the norm. I am open and caring but my family members have never carried on an indept conversation with me. " The Candle Still Burns, Still Reaching" can neither justify or answer why this is so. Life has so many unanswered question. So I search and I learn. Perhapes my life's experience's will help others on their journey. Maybe I'll bore you to death. I hope not. Remember what you send out returns to you three fold. Many blessing to you. May your reading and writing give you peace and an understanding of yourself and others. My writing has helped me to face life with hope, love and thankfulness. Although my life has not been perfect, it has taught me many lessons. I cherious everyday. I am "Stilll  Reaching for the Healing Light  that gives my Spirit and Soul Relief.  I'm  Searching for the Answers to why My Life had taken this Journey. I hope I find out " Before the Candle Dies." " It Still Burns," but for how much longer? I don't waste time pondering it. Live each day as if it will be your last. It may be!
Life is too short not to be a good listener. Luck or Fate may  help you find someone to listen to you as well.  I have been both blessed and cursed in this respect. I have learned much in my sixty-three years of life here on planet Earth.  I've also learned that you never get to old to learn. May the good spirits be with you. May the dark forces pass you by.
