Mica's world has been torn apart, his memories fragmented and scattered. No one really knows just who he is, his origins are shrouded in mystery. He doesn't even know for certain if Mica is his name, but that's what they tell him; Daynah, the princess of Oz and her companions, Abbey and Tanner. Abbey and Tanner tell the story best... he was adviser to Queen Violet Rose who's rule was overthrown by her daughter Ozeria, Daynah's older sister just after Ozeria killed their brother Tippertarion.

Mica had also been Tippertarion's body guard - that's how he lost his memory... how he angered Ozeria so much with his interference that he pushed her to kill Tippertarion. One thing he hasn't forgotten is heroism...during their travels they come across Ethan Matthews, and Mica insists on helping him, but at what costs does that help come?
