Cigarettes

A collection of poetry through three years.

This collection emphasizes on my passing of three years of life. It is a somewhat random collection, but held cohesively together by one object alone...a pack of cigarettes. Habitual, but also a great way to whittle my way through the years; a topic that has meaning for me.

Your poems are deep. I love smoothly flowing poetry that doesn't always rhyme. They are short and sweet. I notice your devotion towards God reflected upon your poetry. It makes me feel a little odd which means your poetry will inspire those who have faith and you will chase off those that do not both at the same time. I suppose that is the price for choosing a side. Fair well.

Love and Cigarettes is truly a work of art. Especially the last three parts. They create a sort of continuous wandering throught imagery.

I feel the smoke escaping your lips , lingering for a moment and then as it dissipates a metaphor of life is born a world view is altered and the world blinks as you awake to question why
