Climate
I have the good fortune to live in a small rural community In Newfoundland Canada, but even here the effects of climate change are only too evident. Our forests are withering from the relentless attacks of acid rain. Our coastline is being eroded, and our waters once so abundant support fewer and fewer species. Even our icebergs, once so magnificent float south lazily from the artic bearing the grimy scars of mankind.

Rebirth is an eloquent expression of the cold, hard truth -- we will not destroy the Earth, but if we don't care for this precious planet, it will eject us, summarily.

His pieces are indicative of wisdom and compassion
for this world and it's beautiful creatures. That
eloquent soulful cautionary appeal is long overdue in today's literary circles.
It is a refreshing and inspiring change from the usual self-absorbed themes.
One can simply not keep a good man down.
Callum C. is Webook's most acclaimed and respected
author. Well-deserved at that. We need more such
conscientious people in this world and more thoughtful poetry
like this.
