Daniel only wanted to unravel the mysteries of the universe. Unfortunately, his dead brother had to bring him to the spirit world to save a princess.

Daniel only wanted to unravel the mysteries of the universe. Unfortunately, his dead brother had to bring him to the spirit world on a half-cooked prophesy from a famous witch no one knows. So, a journey they undertake, to save a princess, and then do something else. The witch wasn't very clear on the specifics.
