Daphne Reprise

Paul has a good life, in general. His girlfriend is beautiful, his sister is cool and always there for him, he's got a nice big house, and just about anything he wants. Then: the girlfriend dumps him, he gets a concussion, finds out that he's the descendant of Apollo, his sister starts dating one of the jocks that beats him up, and oh yeah, he finds out that he's gay.

Paul Newfield considers himself to be "nothing special."
He has a beautiful girlfriend, Willow, a caring, if jock-ish older sister, and few friends, though he's content without them. Then, when Willow dumps him, everything goes haywire. Suddenly, he's getting friends, the jocks that used to beat him up and call him gay are now phoning him for advice, and funniest of all, Apollo (THAT Apollo) is his great-grandfather, way back on one side.

At least for the duration of November, the author will be working on something for National Novel Writing Month. After that, Daphne Reprise is taking front burner until it's finished!
