Dirty Old Town!

My hometown of Dublin has a population of over a million people. The potential for stories is rich and varied. They can be true or fiction, tragic or comic, real or surreal. These stories define what Dublin means to me, good and bad. It is the home of Joyce, Bono and McShane. Give me your real or imagined stories about the capital city of the Land of Saints and Scholars (and a few drunks thrown in for good measure.)

Most people who have traveled to Ireland have visited Dublin. Those who have, leave with a certain impression of the city. Tell the WEbook community what yours was in the form of a short story or poem. Even if you've never been there make it up, because it probably happened anyway.

New York is the city that never sleeps. Dublin is the city that's never sober.
