Your submission must fit the challenge log-line.  If the log-line is, "A zoologist travels to Mars to start a pancake restaurant", your story must include a zoologist, the planet Mars, and pancakes.  That doesn't mean you have to treat every challenge literally, however.

Must be submitted before deadline.  Any submission entered after the pre-determined deadline will be deleted.  Try to finish.  Even short stories have a beginning, middle, and end.  If you don't finish, you may still submit your story, but we hope that you'll adjust your writing practices to finish your next submission.

Please no revisions after the deadline!

Feedback:  This is NOT your junior high creative writing class.  Give constructive feedback to all participants.  "Your story was so super awesome!" is not constructive criticism.  We're here to improve, not pat each other on the backs.

Use the star rating system appropriately.  If you rate someone at 5 stars, they'd damn well better be the next Ernest Hemingway.

That said, be polite.  If you're a participant in this project and you're only here to bring others down, all of your submissions will be deleted.
