This project is not about this and the other. It is about spilling your heart, and having no qualms about doing so. The subject matter is irrelevant. It might be about paddy fields, anal sex, or the Russian space program. Just make sure of one thing, that it delivers its payload of truth onto the unsuspecting ears of the reader. Have no misgivings about being labelled a freak or a firebrand.

Fuck soul searching, I'm truely doing some freak-searching. Look I don't mean to say that art or expression needs to be all purely love based or mainstream or happy at all. I'm with you all on the idea that art needs to be open and experimental and you have to explore the most fucked up recesses of your brain, but your response to me is what concerns me. I hope you can openly express yourself, but a lot of what is being written in this project seems to be an expression of a deeper issue of negativity towards others. You don't need to be so hostile towards me because I'm challenging the work here. I said I was worried about your negativity, I never said I hope you get eaten by a bear or anything like that, so I would appreciate the same respect in a response to what I said. Your anger has a deeper problem than even you realize Specialk, I know you think I'm some naive hippy that's missing out on the big in-your-face truth of how fucked up the world is, but I've been through that and it's just immature. Telling everyone to suck your cock is not the end all be all of existence. But thank you for the hateful response nonetheless.

I love truth as much as any of you, but truth is not necessarily shocking and negative like just about everything I've seen here. Just because it's true you take a shit doesn't mean you have to smear it all over everyone else to prove that you took a shit. All that this type of poetry does is feed the anger you have about the injustices of the world. It doesn't change anything. If you really care about what you see happening in the world then work to make a positive change. Stop wallowing in your thoughts that you feel so empowered by due to their abrasive nature. Love is far more empowering than negativity.
