After reading over 100 First Page submissions, I decided to start this project because I really wanted to give helpful tips to some writers on how to improve their submission rather than just assigning a number to it. Of course, I couldn't while reviewing on First Page...

Though you guys can't resubmit, if you aren't getting the response you were looking for or you're looking to submit and want feedback before you submit to First Page submit here and I'll let you know what I think...

FOR SUBMISSIONS:
- Please post (in this order) Title, Genre(s), completed manuscript or Work in progress
    ie...      Bear's Foot
                Romance/ Sci Fi
                Completed Manuscript
- Please post a short teaser no more than 100 words... (ie very short summary written in third person highlighting main points of story)
- Please post the first page: No more than 600 words (IMPORTANT: it must be the first page not a page from the middle of your project.)
- Please post areas to be critiqued if you have specific ones
     ie.  Focus on: title, character voice, mood
- Please post a link to the original project if it's a webook project

I'll be looking for:
- An interesting and "unique" plot
- A compelling first sentence
- A fluent and intriguing writing style (voice) that fits the mood of the story and the POV character
- Decent grammar and punctuation
- THAT my  submission rules are followed especially word count... (Let me know if there's confusion...)

NOTE:
- Feel free to offer feedback to others if you have time... These submissions should be pretty short to read through and comment....
- All my comments are my opinion alone take what's helpful
- Please don't get offended or defensive at the feedback
- Whether you're submitting to first page or not you can still submit here for feedback on your first page
- I'm not a professional, but I've done a lot of research so that's the angle I'll be coming from
- I'm going to give my honest opinion and I'm a blunt person... if you can't take constructive criticism you may not want to submit...
- If you want to know how I feedback check some of the feedback I've given... ( I'm not as scary as I make myself sound lol)
