This is a salvage operation. I'm rescuing short stories and fragments of stories I wrote over 4 years ago (some of them date back 12 years). Several are from a collection I had rejected by a few publishers - and looking back I can't say I blame them. Most of that collection was rubbish. But some pieces of it have, with extensive editing and rework, turned out ok.

I'm also putting everything alongside some of my photographs this time around.

I'm somewhat bemused because I ambitiously intended to post a possible 8 stories by the end of July. I'd posted 15 by the end of the month. 17 now with August only just starting  - all of these full length (the nano stories and 100 word experiment are later additions). Admittedly, these are not stories I'm writing from scratch, but this is the most prolific period I've ever been through. Some of the stories start as a rescued sentence or a paragraph and the rest is just flowing out like a deluge. I wrote 5 of these in one week alone. Don't get me wrong, I'm knackered as I'm writing until 2 or 3 in the morning. If this carries on I'll be dead by the time I'm 35...  Less
