Glass Onion
If you've ever heard "Glass Onion" by the Beatles, or any random Bob dylan song ,or even for newer generations, Nirvana. You would know that the lyrics to these songs make absolutly no sense, but are still an amazing work of art. Well this is a project for us writers to try our hand at writing outside the box. This is for spur of the moment writings that just come out of nowhere. They don't have to make sense, just write the first thing on your mind. Have fun!

Just a helpful suggestion, I think there needs to be a Glass Onion 2, this place is pretty full up, I think we need more room, Just an idea, please don't throw any glass onions at me, that would hurt, smiles Nica
Sorry about the misplaced poem- that's what I get for staying up over 24 hours
I wish
I could tell you
that you meant more
to me than
a good fuck
but you could
not even
give me
that much.

I agree, but we can't for get Zepplin, or Bob Seger. Great idea. I so agree with ChicagoRilke23.
Thanks guys and I fully concur, and it does stop the flow you're right. It does help some people though so I hope you will forgive me this small foible .

amen to what "theunholydragon" said!!! i often do not care to punctuate b/c when the words flow out of me, they just flow. to have to stop and place punctuation so it is acceptable for the majority of the people who expect poetry to be one way or another, is a bit daunting. punctuation has its place indeed but when one is just trying to express themselves via poetry- they should be free to do so w/o a comma or semi-colon... :)
great project idea. best wishes!

Good concept. Watch the punctuation thing though. I'm big on it, but sometimes a lack of it can help push a purpose forward.
Example: Any time I wrote a poem from the perspective of the dead in the Beyond project, I didn't use punctuation specifically to depict a different sense of perspective.
And I bet 90% of people missed that. But it's there. :p
Anyway. Grammar has its place, but that's not always in poetry.
